Senior Finance Manager

As the Finance leader for 56 Animal Nutrition plants, you are a trusted partner to the VP of Manufacturing and his/her leadership team. You manage, organize, and mobilize your team of analysts to mitigate risks, close performance gaps, and drive improved financial performance. You bring a balance of strategic thinking and tactical knowledge, connecting the commercial team in the corporate center to the factory floor.

This role can be located at our Arden Hills corporate headquarters (hybrid work arrangement). Qualified internal Land O'Lakes employee's outside of the Arden Hills headquarter location may be considered for a virtual/remote work arrangement.

Key Job responsibilities

• Provide support and financial guidance for the VP of Manufacturing on all key decisions and initiatives related to $300+ million of manufacturing costs.
  
  


• Accountable for budgets, forecasts and reporting of actual results.
  
  


• Ensure strong control environment, including partnering with Internal Audit/SOX
  
  


• Responsible for anticipating & identifying risks and opportunities and proposing action plans for initiatives to improve performance.
  
  


• Develop the strategic roadmap inclusive of supporting Feed Transformation Initiatives and the Capital Plan.
  
  


• Actively create an engaging, high-performance learning environment for team of three finance professionals.
  
  


• Role requires up to 10% travel
  
  

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration required. MBA desired.
  
  


• A minimum of 8-10+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience. Previous manufacturing experience desired.
  
  


• Experience managing people highly desired.
