Your Mission:

As a Principal Product Manager, you will be responsible for leading game integration efforts, coordinating directly with Game Studio Team leadership and providing strong product guidance for Battle.net's platform capabilities. In this role you will play a critical role in working with product managers and internal engineering teams to understand and improve the end-to-end title onboarding experience for our studio partners. You will identify areas of opportunity to improve efficiency, scale and stability to our integration systems to bring more games to the Battle.net platform improving the experience for internal partners, helping to solve complex problems while delivering epic experiences to our community of players.

This position is anticipated to be a hybrid work position, with some work on-site and some work-from-home. The potential home studio for this role is Irvine, CA. However, we understand each person's circumstances may be unique and will work with you to explore other possible options, including remote work arrangements.

What you provide:

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:


  • Lead a team of internal integration specialists-working cross functionally-to partner with AAA game studios and publishers to onboard games to Battle.net.

  • Continuously work with studio partners, internal product and engineering to identify, translate, assess and prioritize feature requests.

  • Partner with game team developers, collaborating on establishing unified goals for the integration with respect to objectives, key results and the player experience.

  • Increase studio partner satisfaction through strong relationships built on credibility and responsibility.

  • Proactively identify risks before they materialize and call out to the appropriate teams to ensure partners are informed and working together in mitigating.

  • Manage relationships with game teams, central services teams, and integration-impacting partners as the main point of contact title onboarding.

  • Create and maintain internal and external product documentation and related artifacts to help drive customer adoption.

  • Be an active member of a leadership team committed to mentorship and the success of others.

Minimum Requirements:

Experience


  • 10+ years of leadership experience working within or in close partnership with a platform product team.

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, including authoring strategy.

  • Experience managing technical initiatives involving stakeholders from different business units.

Knowledge & Skills


  • Strong product and business strategy and critical thinking skills with the ability to get into the technical details.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, Business, or a related field.

  • Excellent communicator, capable of presenting and sharing information that resonates with both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive teams.

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $124,400.00 - $230,300.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. Your Talent Professional can share this role's range details for your local geography during the hiring process. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
