YETI is searching for an individual to fill the role of Director supporting all areas of Product Financial Planning & Analysis in addition to managing/supporting M&A diligence and integration activities. Based at our headquarters in Austin, Texas, this role will report directly to our Vice President of Finance and will be a key business partner and provide key financial support for the Product Group and Finance leadership teams.


This individual needs to be highly analytical with the ability to synthesize data and make sound business recommendations to management. They must be a collaborative problem-solver, who not only understands the numbers, but also the broader business context around them. To be successful, the Director/Senior Director must be able to communicate effectively across multiple teams, as well as the Senior Leadership Team to provide critical information and escalate and address roadblocks.


Responsibilities:


Strategic Financial Planning and Business Partnering:


- Lead the financial planning and analysis processes, including Annual Operating Plan (AOP), forecasting, and long-range planning, to support Product Group strategic initiatives and business objectives. Act as a strategic partner to the Product leaders and other key stakeholders, providing financial insights and recommendations to drive business decisions and optimize performance. Other key areas of focus include


  • OPEX management - ensure Product leaders operate their departments within a scalable cost structure, focusing on investment decisions and trade-offs

  • CAPEX investments - evaluate impact and affordability of product tooling investments to support revenue growth and product diversification efforts

  • Product Gate Reviews - manage the financial evaluation of all new product innovation including assessments of competition, portfolio cannibalization, product/material costs and CAPEX investments



M&A and Strategic Initiatives:


- Provide insightful analysis and recommendations to senior leadership based on financial data and market trends, with a focus on driving profitability and shareholder value. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and evaluate business cases for potential M&A opportunities, ensuring alignment with global strategies and objectives. Lead/support financial due diligence and integration processes for all M&A targets in conjunction with the Accounting team. Act as the FP&A lead and main liaison contact for all pre/post-acquisition activities.


Process Optimization and Team Development:


- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the FP&A function, including implementing best practices, streamlining processes, and leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Develop and mentor a high-performing team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability while providing support to the Product leaders and their team as needed.


Qualifications and Attributes:




  • Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of experience in roles with financial accountability and progressive leadership responsibility. Graduate degree desired but not required.





  • At least 5 years of experience leading FP&A functions and building high performing teams with the ability to create the foundation for the future in a rapidly changing environment.





  • Extensive experience in financial analysis, corporate finance and M&A transactions. Strong understanding of financial modeling, valuation techniques and due diligence processes.





  • Excellent influencing, communication, and presentation skills at the executive level.





  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills with proven experience leading complex, large-scale, global projects.





  • Individual must possess a high attention to detail, be data-driven and fact-based.
