Nurse Practitioner - Infusion/Oncology - Per Diem at Martha's Vineyard Hospital (MVH) in FALMOUTH, Massachusetts

Job Description:

Develops implements and evaluates a program of specialized health care for the Hematology Oncology and Infusion population in the MVH Infusion/MGH Hematology Oncology practice at Martha's Vineyard Hospital (MVH). Provides access for patients into the program and coordinates patient care throughout the care continuum. Promotes a collaborative relationship and effort between the medical staff, professional nurses and administrative staff, to ensure continuity of patient care and efficient use of resources. Works collaboratively with nursing leadership and staff at MVH and MGH to ensure programmatic development and growth.

Qualifications

• Current licensure in the commonwealth of Massachusetts as a registered NP
• Master's Degree in Nursing or completion of NCCPA program
• Current certification as a nurse practitioner in appropriate specialty to care for adult patients.
• Two years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an oncology setting
