LAB Research Chemist/Physicist/Engineer IV at Volt in Eden Prairie, Minnesota

Job Description:

Volt is immediately hiring a Quality Engineer in Eden Prairie, MN with a well-known industry leader. In this role you will drive existing product quality enhancement through use of continuous improvement methods and tools.



This is a first shift role.




As a Quality Engineer you will:

• Ensure the commercialized product design intent and product integrity is retained as materials, processes, methods, and specifications change
• Support change as it relates to design changes inspired by quality improvement, source of supply changes, or cost reduction efforts
• Trouble shoot, investigate, and analyze for non-conforming product testing and disposition

Estimated Duration up to 24 months.



The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in an Engineering or Science discipline (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
• Up to three years combined experience in a Manufacturing, Production, Quality and/or Laboratory role

Preferred Skills:

• Medical device and/or quality management system experience such as Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Quality System Regulation (QSR) and/or International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 13485
• Working knowledge of root cause analysis tools and techniques
• Deep emphasis on applied statistical applications and continuous improvement methodologies
• Support and/or lead efforts on life cycle management, risk management, product and process improvements, and other product documentation efforts

Pay Rate: $46.00-47.00 hr.
