We are seeking an experienced and transformational Head of Data Science to lead our dynamic Data Science organization. The Head of Data Science will play a pivotal role in driving innovation, harnessing data-driven insights, and advancing our mission to transform the clinical trial landscape and drive product performance and revenue for Evinova. Reporting directly to the Chief Scientific Officer, with a dotted line into the SVP/President of Evinova, the successful candidate will be responsible for guiding our data science efforts to build value, drive growth, and achieve our strategic objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive data science strategy that aligns with the company's goals and mission.
  
  


• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and encourage a global team of data scientists, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
  
  


• Data Strategy: Define data collection, management, and governance strategies to ensure data quality, security, and compliance within the biomedical space.
  
  


• Innovation: Drive the exploration and implementation of advanced data analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence techniques to discover new signals and enable novel measurement in healthcare.
  
  


• Clinical Trial Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven strategies for optimizing the clinical trial process, reducing costs, and accelerating time to market.
  
  


• Technology Integration: Identify and evaluate new technologies, tools, and platforms that can enhance data science capabilities and improve decision-making.
  
  


• Data Partnerships: Establish partnerships and collaborations with external organizations to access additional data sources and expand our data science capabilities.
  
  


• Data Ethics and Compliance: Ensure data practices adhere to ethical standards and regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and GDPR.
  
  


• Communication: Effectively communicate data-driven insights and findings to diverse collaborators, including executives, clinicians, and technical teams.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications:

• PhD or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics).
  
  


• Consistent record of leadership and at least 7 years of experience in data science, with a strong background in the biomedical space.
  
  


• Significant experience in delivering data science and AI products into production for the generation of business value
  
  


• Deep expertise in machine learning, data analytics, and statistical modeling.
  
  


• Experience with healthcare data, clinical trials, and digital health technologies.
  
  


• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
  
  


• Strong project management and organizational skills.
  
  


• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  
  


• Prior experience leading and leading a data science team.
  
  


• Ability to navigate sophisticated regulatory and compliance landscapes.
