Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Service Engineer in Warren, MI.

Summary:
The main function of a service engineer is to represent advance serviceability of design within the Vehicle Development Process. A typical service engineer is responsible for identifying, addressing, or escalating serviceability issues as appropriate utilizing business case analysis.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and communicate service requirements


• Develop/Validate diagnostic service procedures


• Support field requests


• Maintain ownership of older documents on previously authored programs


• Collaborate cross functionally with up/down stream organization


• Visit other Michigan based work sites for validation or other on vehicle testing/observation will be required as needed


• Required to meet KPI expectations as provided to the rest of the team

REQUIREMENTS:

• Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint


• Strong interpersonal skills involving ability to work effectively cross-functionally and cross-culturally


• Strong written and verbal communication skills


• Ability to work independently and with a team


• Ability to partner with senior management to analyze and solve issues


• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously


• Ability to read engineering schematics and blueprints


• Strong understanding of automotive repair

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
