Key Responsibilities:

Tropicana Brands Group is looking for a highly qualified Transport Driver to support the LD&T Associate Supervisor to ensure the company's goals and initiatives are met. The Driver-Transport will be responsible for making pick-ups and deliveries of predominantly finished products or materials/supplies as well as obtaining proper authorization for all deliveries/pick-ups. Tropicana is looking for a critical thinker with exceptional communication, influencing and relationship management skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Deliver finished products or raw materials to the assigned destination.


• Obtains proper authorization for all deliveries/pick-ups.


• Inspects vehicle for proper and safe operating conditions before and after each trip.


• Must maintain a DOT driver's log and adhere to all DOT regulations.


• Also requires lifting cases weighing 20-45 pounds if they fall in the trailer.


• May require driving in adverse weather conditions.


• Tackle ambiguous problems to determine and prioritize business strategies


• Ability to structure and prioritize tasks, and focus efforts in an ambiguous work environment


• Demonstrated ability to implement short and long-term strategies to support organizational operation and transformation

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED


• 3 years of commercial driving experience


• We are seeking a candidate based in Jersey City, NJ


• Valid Class A CDL license


• Pass DOT physical and DOT Road Test


• Candidates should bring Abstract to HM interview
