The General Manager position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of all Recycled Concrete Operations including the following, but not limited to: communication with production managers, handling all aspects related to plant equipment, site personnel, and customers; scheduling and necessary maintenance.
Recycle Operations consist of 4 fixed plants and 1 train terminal that produce 1.5M tons annually
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
• The selected candidate will be required to work in a team environment with other co-workers and managers
• Supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in all aspects of Recycled Concrete Operations
• Supervise and coordinate crew activities, studying production schedules, and estimating work requirements for completion of job assignments with or beating the job estimate
• Schedule the mobilization of needed equipment
• Supervise, coordinate, train, and coach assigned personnel in the completion of jobs and daily work duties
• Responsible for ensuring that managers supervise equipment operators and laborers to ensure that work is being done according to the field layout and the plans
• Ensure that employees operate and maintain equipment properly to meet production goals
• Notify the shop of equipment mechanical issues
• Lead crews in our safety culture and help ensure a safe working environment
• Maintain time and material records necessary for completing daily job costing
• Perform other duties as assigned
Education/Experience
• College Degree in a complementary program or relevant Quarry industry experience.
• Previous management experience is required
• 12 plus years of Quarry or Plant experience required
• Leadership training a plus
• Valid state driver's license

• Self-motivation and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Priority emphasis and strong time management skills
• Travel may be required
• Basic computer and mobile device skills
