Summary



The primary responsibility of this position is to understand and support the SAP Finance and Controlling modules in S4 Hana, including General Finance, Central Finance, Cost Center Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Material Ledger, Profitability Analysis, Fixed Assets, Tax and Business Planning & Consolidations. As an individual with expert knowledge in FI-CO from the perspective of information technology (IT) this position will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all finance existing business applications and will facilitate the definition of solutions to meet business requirements. This position can have system-wide responsibility on complex projects and components. The Staff Analyst will plan, coordinate and direct strategic initiatives within his/her area of responsibility that enhance and enable strategic business and or technical capabilities. In close collaboration with IT architects and business partners this position will develop, drive and support cost-effective initiatives supporting the finance organization.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Project Delivery and Process Optimization: Responsible for analyzing the needs of all the finance SMEs and establishing priorities for system design and implementation.


• This position requires the ability to lead, teach and direct with little to no direction: providing agile consistent leadership managing process change, assessing business process requirements, making sound IT decisions, organizing, and delivering information appropriately to audiences at all levels within the company, managing against budget, managing with Agile, Hybrid-Agile and Waterfall methodologies.


• The Staff Analyst will be involved in the negotiation and contracts with consultants, technical personnel and vendors for services and products.


• Responsible for overall quality of solutions supporting the Finance.


• Support: Create maintain and ensure quality of systems that support key Customer business processes. Collaborate with the functional end users, vendors, and IT peers to support applications system integrations and capabilities as needed.


• Document and maintain support procedures and information as needed to maintain a positive support level.


• Plan and implement system configuration changes and coordinate all module and system integration testing in conjunction with the business users.

Requirements



Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Systems or other technical area. Advanced degree in related field preferred.


Experience: 8 plus years of IT experience with emphasis on Finance with demonstrated ability generally associated with 6 plus years progressive experience in a leadership role.


Computer Skills: Must be proficient in Microsoft apps, Excel, PowerPoint. Must be proficient with Microsoft Project. Basic knowledge of JIRA, Application Life Cycle Management (ALM), Blackline and ServiceNow is a plus.


Communication Skills: Excellent customer-facing and communication skills including excellent written and verbal communication. Ability to effectively communicate technical solutions and approaches to a non-technical audience.



Special Skills: Experience with SAP S4 HANA - FI-CO, Business Planning and Consolidations (BPC), Central Finance (CFIN), Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable. Ability to lead and mentor team members through relevant business process problems and architectural discussions. Outstanding ability to learn and understand innovative technologies.
