Volt is immediately hiring for Assistant Supervisor in Oxnard, Ca!

As a Assistant Supervisor you will:

• Instruct staff in daily job duties, including moving personnel as needed and passing out PPE.
• Lead daily risk prediction and team meetings
• Work with Operations Manager and HR with regards to personnel issues
• Assure adherence to GMP, Food Defense and Food Safety
• Set up lines for processing various packing styles

This is a Full-Time 1st Shift Opportunity.

Pay Rate is $23/hr

The ideal candidate will have:

• Must be able to effectively supervise a crew, and have good communication skills.
• Good attendance record and no disciplinary actions above a verbal warning.
• Must have basic math skills.
• Must become qualified through the step-up process
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. continuously.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends
• Thorough understanding of all assigned line work (i.e., General Labor work including drum washing, sorting processes including color sorter)
