Summary of Position:

The Director of Recruiting will be responsible for advancing Elder Research's approach to attracting top-tier talent and developing a pipeline of potential candidates in both the Commercial and Government sectors. This position will assume leadership for our recruiting team and processes, collaborating closely with other leaders throughout the company to understand hiring needs and develop strategies that are efficient, customer-focused, and scalable for a growing company.

We are looking for someone who has a passion for recruiting and a proven track record of creating positive hiring experiences for both candidates and managers. This position will report to the Vice President of Human Resources and will supervise a small but potentially growing team of technical recruiters.

Essential Functions:

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a service-orientated team in providing a comprehensive hiring strategy that aligns with the company's strategic goals.

  • Partners with company leaders to understand and execute the organization's goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting and retention in a high-tech company where employees are in high demand.?

  • Oversees the recruitment process, including management of professional recruiters and relationships with independent recruiting consultants and agencies identified to assist with the recruitment process.

  • Identifies and leverages effective recruiting channels based on the position, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.

  • Encourages and facilitates a hiring process that is welcoming and supportive to a diverse population of qualified candidates.

  • Participates directly in sourcing and interview activities for high impact positions.

  • Facilitates training of ERI staff around compliance and best practices in recruitment and hiring.

  • Maintains and optimizes our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other recruitment tools

  • Contributes to a positive candidate experience through timely communication, clear expectations, and dependable follow-through.

  • Participates in networking opportunities such as job fairs, conferences, and meetups to enhance our talent pipeline.

  • Leads the continuous improvement of recruitment efforts through measurement tools, recruitment analytics, recruitment technology changes, and industry best practices.

Job Specifications/Requirements:

  • A minimum of seven years of recruitment/talent acquisition experience with at least 3 years' experience in managing and leading a recruitment team.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement innovative recruiting strategies and programs.

  • Proven track record of creating effective pipelines and filling positions for government contracts of varying sizes, including positions that require security clearance

  • Working knowledge of recruitment, EEO, and federal contractor regulations and best practices.

  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.

  • Strong interpersonal, influencing, and negotiating skills.

  • Ability to prioritize workflow and maximize organizational efficiency.

  • Strong understanding of the full cycle recruiting and ATS Management.

Desired Skills

  • Experience sourcing and recruiting both commercial and government technical consultants

  • Ability to identify candidates who may be a good fit for various positions within the company through awareness of relevant tools and KSAs used in the analytics industry
