The Li lab is looking to fill a position for a Research Technician IV to help understand the molecular mechanisms underlying the contribution of disease-associated genetic variants to age-related diseases such as cancers, Alzheimer's disease, and cardiovascular diseases.
Performs a variety of independent and complex laboratory work and experiments. Analyzes and interprets data, compiles results, and prepares reports. Maintains inventory, ordering, and logs. Writes manuscripts and grant proposals and prepares data visualizations.
Basic scientific laboratory work at the bench space. Repetitive pipetting, Handling mice. Must have good eye to hand coordination, excellent visual acuity, and manual dexterity. Must be able to reach/stack consumables on shelves and occasionally move equipment.
Must be able to move swiftly between testing rooms; be able to lift and carry 15 pounds.
