About the Job:
The Cost Accountant executes comprehensive financial and accounting support for project and capital orders (including related analyses), month end closing entries and reporting. Financial support for the Engineering & Supply organization, and various ad hoc analyses as needed
- Provide comprehensive accounting support for One4AL Projects module transactions including: initial order entry, milestone invoicing, percent of completion calculations/entries, project costing and margin analysis, project closure, and backlog reporting.
- Responsible for balance sheet account reconciliations for project related transactions, including project advances, supplier advances, currency hedges, and inventory transactions.
- Provide monthly P3E performance review and analysis, including establishment of annual E&S absorption rates
- Provide accounting support for One4AL Complex Components module for capital orders, including review of standard costs, PPV, & margin analysis
- Responsible for establishing and communicating costing rates for U.S. Government-related business. Provide full coordination and support for DCMA audits
- Coordinate project order information requests during audits
- Provide various ad hoc analysis as needed
What you know:
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting (preferred)
- 3-5 years of relevant experience.
