What you can expect


  • Collaboration and strategic support of annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting

  • Develop annual budget and quarterly multi-year plans with input from business partners.  Responsible for forecast assumptions and input into forecast tool (Anaplan)

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly results, identify trends and variance analysis, prepare presentation materials

  • Identify process improvements and efficiencies within the expense management team

  • Interaction and support for consolidation of monthly results and analysis

  • Assist with preparation of executive review materials for actuals and forecasts

  • Support annual benchmarking studies and other competitive analysis

  • Participate in strategic projects as requested

Specific responsibilities for the position will vary over time based on business needs and other factors.

What you will bring


  • Advanced degree and/or relevant certification (MBA, CPA, or CFA is a plus)

  • Proven ability to analyze data and the underlying drivers of financial results

  • Discretion to deal with confidential information

  • Agile and organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple demands.  Able to proactively anticipate issues, provide recommendations, and communicate key issues at the right level at the right time.

  • Displays a continuous improvement mindset.  Able to proactively identify, analyze, and improve upon existing processes for optimization and meet new deadlines or standards of quality.

  • Uses appropriate applications and identifies opportunities to better leverage technology to complete tasks more efficiently and effectively.

  • Proficient use of MS Office suite.

What will set you apart?


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics

  • 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis or reporting

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $85,000 to $95,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
