Job Description:

Job Purpose


The Lead Receptionist will act as the face of PREMIER.  They will be the first point of contact for all customers entering PREMIER Bankcard.  In addition to greeting all customers, they will; conduct work in a positive manner, effectively interpret multiple calendars and schedules, notify appropriate company personnel of visitor/guests arrival and remain professional at all times.


Primary Duties:


1.    Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


a.     Displays world class customer service by greeting customers, answering the phone, and gathering required information by knowing what questions to ask customer in order to properly direct.


b.     Maintain confidentiality.


c.     Manage and maintain the overall workflow of the reception area and duties assigned to ensure continuity and coverage of the customer service/receptionist area.


d.     Maintains a thorough understanding of the phone operator platform.


e.     Effectively communicate and collaborate with all departments.


f.      Notifies appropriate company personnel of visitor/guest arrival.


g.     Issue temporary, visitor, and vendor badges for walk in traffic.


h.     Receive packages and deliveries.


i.      Address questions of Cardholder walk in traffic.


j.      Receive credit card payments from employees and walk in traffic.


k.     Notify Legal of Subpoenas from walk in traffic.


l.      Be constantly aware of lobby security and customer location.


m.   Provide all clerical support and assist with duties and special projects as assigned as directed by Workforce Management supervisor. 


n.     Maintains an understanding of policies, processes, and products; including how to answer questions and help customers.


 


Experience/Education/Skills:


Possess basic understanding of high-quality customer interaction.  Preferred 1 year experience in Customer Service-related position.  Must have excellent interpersonal skills; being able to communicate both in person and on the phone. Combination of education/experience that would enable incumbent to meet essential functions and required competencies of the position. Qualified candidate must be able to adapt to change, work well under stress, and have the ability to interact in a professional manner in all circumstances.


 


Physical Demands and Work Environment:


The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Normal office environment with minimal exposure to dust and noise.   Extended periods of sedentary work required.  The employee frequently is required to sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus. Extended computer viewing and keyboarding required. 


This is a full-time position. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the "core" work hours of the established department which is M-F 8am to 5pm.
