About the team:



The team manages accounting processes supporting our manufacturing dairy business. Our role is to handle the accounting and finance of the business timely and accurately to support the business and operations partners.



About the job:



The position will lead accounting and finance operations for the dairy plant, as well as technical accounting and design of future business. The role is responsible for meeting/exceeding targets, identifying & implementing improvements, and managing relationships with our business partners.



You'll make an impact by:



  • Directing the implementation of initiatives and process improvements in area of responsibility by communicating action plans to the team; leading teams through process changes; communicating the business case to key stakeholders; translating strategy into actionable plans; identifying and communicating areas of opportunity to senior leadership; and managing and allocating resources and budget for the department.

  • Directing the development of and drives strategy and processes in area of responsibility by partnering with senior leadership to determine the overall strategy; aligning team strategies with the department strategy; evaluating existing processes and identifying areas for improvement; developing processes to drive consistency; developing process strategies to create efficiencies and cost savings in the supplier and contract administration process; overseeing the execution of risk-based strategies; ensuring compliance with set procedures and controls; evaluating outcomes against projected costs and agreements; identifying trends in outcomes and developing processes and training to address them; and ensuring visibility to and training on new processes.

  • Understanding end-to-end process for areas of responsibility and serves as Subject Matter Expert for Enterprise Business Services while being first point of contact with business partners as it relates to areas of responsibility.

  • Guiding the team to achieving correct accounting determinations, accurate accounting and improving and designing processes to set the business up for the future.

  • Directing the analysis of balance sheet and P&L accounts under areas of responsibility. Ensure timely communication of issues and proper resolution. Analyzes and communicates financial risks to business partners and works with third-party partners to mitigate such risks.



  • Directing the financial performance of assigned business areas by analyzing financial data; comparing data to third-party information, budgets, or actual results; researching and reviewing associates' research of financial information; discussing business impact of information in data and other information to the profit and loss within accounting rules; ensuring audits are managed for timelines and accuracy; and facilitating the relationship between the team and internal customers and external specialists.



  • Directing the alignment of multiple cross-functional teams to deliver key business objectives by leveraging cross-functional relationships to align strategic objectives to achieve business goals; providing leadership and direction to cross-functional internal and external teams to allocate and align resources, clarify priorities, and drive deliverables in alignment with corporate goals, objectives, and timelines; providing leadership to prevent or resolve conflicts, mitigate business impact, and position the business to achieve strategic objectives; providing updates to the organization; and eliminating obstacles to ensure key deliverables are met in a timely manner.

  • Monitoring global projects by identifying areas of opportunity; determining proper procedures and guidelines for advising on, executing, and documenting organizational practices across multiple countries; understanding global trends that affect the business; demonstrating and communicating working knowledge of industry best practices, policies, and procedures in business area of expertise; anticipating issues of concern; and recommending sustainable solutions in area of expertise.

  • Providing overall direction by analyzing business objectives and customer needs; developing, communicating, building support for, and implementing business strategies, plans, and practices; analyzing costs and forecasts and incorporating them into business plans; determining and supporting resource requirements; evaluating operational processes; measuring outcomes to ensure desired results; identifying and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; promoting a customer environment; and demonstrating adaptability and sponsoring continuous learning.

  • Developing and implementing strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce by diagnosing capability gaps; recruiting, selecting, and developing talent; supporting mentorship, workforce development, and succession planning; and leveraging the capabilities of new and
    existing talent.

  • Cultivating an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics by integrating these values into all programs and practices; developing consequences for violations or non-compliance; and supporting the Open Door Policy.



  • Developing and leveraging internal and external partnerships and networks to maximize the achievement of business goals by sponsoring and leading key community outreach and involvement initiatives; engaging key stakeholders in the development, execution, and evaluation of appropriate business plans and initiatives; and supporting associate efforts in these areas.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...
