Cash Supervisor at PPG INDUSTRIES INC in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania

Job Description:

As a Cash Supervisor, you will support the cash and credit card banking operations for the US and Canada store network. You will provide leadership and development opportunities to a team of 4 analysts. You will report to the Architectural Stores Accounting Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that all revenue transactions occurring at the store level pass from the store Point-of-Sale (POS) to SAP.


• Maintain relationships with the stores' operations team, retail IT support, internal audit, external audit, corporate treasury, and various bank contacts.


• Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of financial policies and procedures to guarantee a strong business control environment, where internal financial and operating controls comply with corporate policy.


• Promote continuous improvement in the efficiency of transaction processing, the quality of reporting, and the value of financial information provided to business management.


• Drive change and identify areas for process improvement, increased efficiencies, and opportunities to increase the teams' effectiveness.


• Review and approve high volume of bank account reconciliations and account analysis.


• Be the system administrator for Trintech T-Recs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business with 5+ years of experience.


• Strong leadership and communication skills.


• Must be proficient in Excel.


• Experience in SAP is highly encouraged.


• Knowledge of Trintech T-Recs is helpful.
