Job Description:

SUMMARY


Riverview is seeking a qualified individual to manage the conversion of our Business Online Banking service and be responsible for vendor relationships and product offerings for our Treasury Management, Business and Commercial Online Banking, Merchant Services, and Card Services.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES



  • Lead and manage a team of Treasury Management, Merchant Services, and Card Services Consultants to directly sell solutions and related product offerings to existing and prospective clients

  • Manage and achieve department sales goals and service level expectations

  • Provide weekly department updates to EVP with production updates, tracking towards important milestones, meetings, events and successes

  • Participate in department and branch conference calls and meetings

  • Coordinate onboarding and implementation for Commercial Banking relationships

  • Mentor staff to enhance product and industry knowledge

  • Responsible for business plan development for staff and adherence to corporate policies

  • Conducts daily coaching calls/meetings with staff and performs in-person coaching and supports RMs as needed

  • Create and present trainings for Branch Managers and Commercial RMs

  • Strategize with Marketing to develop impactful messages to generate interest in services and new banking relationships

  • Assist Commercial RMs in evaluating and underwriting operating exposure for all services

  • Identify existing high value business relationships with the assistance of Branch Managers and Business Intelligence

  • Manage Depository relationships with extensive product or servicing needs

  • Prepare proposals and presentations for existing and prospective customers

  • Joint and independent prospecting efforts to obtain new relationships for the bank

  • Active in the communities we serve by participating in meetings and attending fund raising events


 


ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 



  • May be called upon to assist in company-wide programs, presentations, and training.

  • Continuing education for personal and professional development.

  • Participate in and complete training objectives with passing scores.

  • Follow all Riverview policies and procedures.

  • Other duties may be assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:


Bachelor's degree: Business, Finance or Accounting, ten or more years related experience in banking industry, including two years of management experience and /or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced degree, industry certifications and/or continuing education preferred.


SKILLS



  • Proven track record of success in Treasury Management, Card Services, and Merchant Services or payment systems and equipment

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, manage processes and complete objectives

  • Experience in managing and supporting Commercial Banking Relationships

  • Advanced PC skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to take charge and complete objectives

  • Entrepreneurial orientation, customer focus and strong work ethic

  • Pro-active thinker with strong leadership and interpersonal skills

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills including effective speaking before groups

  • Effectively manages change and ability to develop "innovative approaches" to problem solving

  • A thorough understanding of how to effectively manage individuals and promote corporate objectives

  • Strong industry knowledge of the services to be managed and the sales/implementation processes

  • Proven track record of success in building an effective sales team in business equipment/payment systems environment


PHYSICAL DEMANDS


While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to effectively communicate via phone/video, messaging, and email. The employee is required to use computer and office equipment such as a computer, printer, copier, as well as computer software such as Microsoft Office. You may also frequently be required to occupy a workstation for long periods of time.

WORK ENVIRONMENT



  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock in working with standard office equipment indoors. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
