As a member of the Provider Digital Product Team, you will join a team transforming health care and health services for over 170M people worldwide. As a Digital Product Manager, you will lead, directly or indirectly, a cross-functional team of technologists including strategist, designers, researchers, content strategists, analysts, and other digital experts to deliver impactful digital solutions that transform care of health for those we serve. This position will report to the Digital Provider Product Senior Director.

The Digital Product Manager understands business and technology objectives, communicates the product vision and roadmap, and prioritizes and translates needs into requirements to ensure that expected outcomes are achieved. This role will focus primarily on the Cigna for Health Care Providers portal. CHCP offers providers the ability to perform critical administrative activities and exchange relevant health plan information throughout the patient's journey.

You'll partner with and influence all facets of the business including sales, marketing, operations, legal, risk, compliance, and cyber to drive bold strategies that define the trajectory of our user experience while shaping our product culture. You will remove roadblocks and act as a leader who puts team(s) above self to enable the delivery of truly differentiated digital products and experiences to the market, unlocking value for end users, clients, and our business alike.

About You:


  • You have at least 10 years of professional experience managing software products through launch and iteration or related functions, experience in healthcare, insurance or a related space strongly preferred.

  • Demonstrated results in being able to think strategically, anticipate future consequences and trends, and incorporate them into both a short-term and long-term strategic plan.

What You will Achieve:


  • Manage and mentor a team of Product Owners who drive the day-to-day tactical execution of product development.

  • Define and deliver compelling product roadmaps based on business objectives, customer needs, technology priorities and strategic opportunities.

  • Work closely with customer-facing teams to define execution strategies and help them understand product positioning and key benefits.

  • Translate business and operations problem statements and solution hypotheses into Epics or other forms of requirements, ensuring clear acceptance criteria and measurable success metrics.

  • Put into practice problem-solving and analytical skills, including experience interpreting data, sometimes with limited context and direction.

  • Contribute to cross-functional stakeholder problem solving with business, engineering, and architecture to develop the best solution options.

  • Ensure product performance by establishing, regularly monitoring key metrics, and sharing key metrics as a checkpoint to validate monitoring.

  • Proactively identify and resolve blockers (including technical and resourcing) to achieve product business objectives.

  • Work closely with data management and analytics teams to ensure data integrity and implementation of user analytics tracking.

  • Ensure technology needs and product health of your products are addressed regularly, ensuring that you are not creating tech debt by focusing on feature enhancements only.

  • Communicate complex technical information in a condensed manner to various stakeholders verbally and in writing.

  • Ensure the team's work creates iterative value (e.g., supports the completion of MVPs/Epics in concert with other teams).

  • Continually build your product, technical and industry knowledge.

  • Leverages agility tools (e.g., Jira) and implements strategies to optimize team performance and achieve overall department objectives (e.g., manage story aging, manage WIP, epic size/throughput, etc.).

  • Partner with peer Product Managers and share best practices with the product team.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 147,000 - 245,000 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus and long term incentive plan.
