Summary: The Workday HCM Architect will serve as the business systems architect and key technology functional principal to deploy and maintain Acushnet's global Workday HCM platform. Acushnet HR is starting their People Technology transformation and will be implementing Workday HCM globally. We are looking for an individual with a passion for People Technology and the love of Workday to serve as the program Architect in the planning, deployment, support, and future design of how Workday will be utilized at Acushnet. You will be joining a great company, with an amazing team that will be partnering with HR globally to transform the way we do things. This position will be hybrid and based out of our Fairhaven Headquarters.


Responsibilities:



  • Function as the Workday HCM Platform Principal to evaluate business challenges, identify functional / technical and business risks, develop alternatives and leverage Workday to develop effective global solutions.

  • Work closely with HR Subject Matter Experts and HR Center of Excellences to provide strategy, configuration, and techno - functional design recommendations that address complex business problems.

  • Document business requirements and review techno - functional specifications to ensure alignment with business objectives, optimize business processes and comply with technical standards.

  • Analyze Workday modification requests to identify innovative approaches that minimize the long-term cost of upgrading Workday.

  • Lead the efforts of HR Technology and business resources through identification of business requirements, development of techno - functional specifications, review of software development and testing in support of Workday initiatives.

  • Mentor HR Technology team members on Workday, provide Workday knowledge transfer, review cross-functional requirements, and assist with testing of complex Workday functions.

  • Implement industry best practices for Workday configuration, software development and change management.

  • Monitor for new technical developments and products and evaluate their suitability for Acushnet's business requirements and compatibility with the Workday architecture.

  • Troubleshoot complex Workday challenges and provide 24x7 support for critical issues.


Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • 10+ years of HR Technology experience with 7+ years of architectural / principal responsibility and Workday experience.

  • Willingness to some travel, as necessary.
