PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO THOSE WITH EXPERIENCE IN CONSTRUCTION SERVICES

We are looking for a highly motivated, organized individual who can provide excellent customer service and assist in delivering on internal and external client requests in a fast-paced environment. The individual must demonstrate a working understanding of our business and be able to assist in facilitating the group’s objectives. Our Dispatcher/Scheduler will be responsible for daily construction materials technicians’ coordination for construction projects where the technician is testing and inspecting soils, concrete, asphalt, masonry, reinforcing steel, etc throughout an approximate 100-mile radius of Dallas, Texas.

General Job Duties:

- Schedule and Dispatch technicians to project sites based on technician skill set, certifications, location, project and priority
- Follow safety rules and practices and other safety requirements for all projects
- Daily communication with contractors and project managers - reporting any safety or quality concerns with project managers
- Maintain files of project information electronically such as Master Service Agreements, Work Orders, change orders and project instructions
- Word Processing, including field report check in, editing and submittal to clients
- Assist in operational management, maintenance management, security, and IT management
- Various duties as assigned

This position requires multitasking use of phone, email and text communication with client representative, contractors, project managers and technicians and other as applicable regarding the services to be provided, the status of current on-going work and up and coming work.

Critical competencies required for this position include:

- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Must have strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with interruptions
- Experience working in a deadline driven environment
- Experience in proactively assessing the needs of those being supported
- Capability to make decisions within guidelines

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of related experience

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Computer Skills:
Advanced knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint required. Deltek database knowledge preferred.

Valid Driver's License required.
