As a member of the Enterprise Resilience Planning team, you will manage a portfolio of business segments, lead new program implementations, perform maintenance activities (BIA's, plan development and updates, resilience risk management, exercise design and facilitation, training & awareness) and occasionally participate in crisis management response and recovery activities during emergency activations.

What you'll do:

• Being a trusted advisor: Develop Strong and Trusting Relationships - as a resilience business partner working across the organization to solve issues, address pain points and implement resilience strategies which increase overall resilience of the organization. Deliver resilience insights and risks to leadership at all levels.
  
  


• Overseeing Business Performance: Lead annual and quarterly business planning and performance engagements for assigned business units. Conduct deep dive analysis on issues effecting resilience compliance, maturity metrics, and implement corrective actions.
  
  


• Producing Compelling Presentations and Training: Develop and deliver clear, cohesive, and skillful communication regarding crisis management and business continuity.
  
  


• Working Cross-Functionally: Collaborate with Executive Sponsors, Program Coordinators, IT Disaster Recovery and Emergency Management partners to deliver best-in-class resiliency solutions.
  
  


• Working Autonomously & Self-Starter: You will be responsible for management of the above and action with limited manager oversight
  
  


• Flexibility and Adaptability - Knowledge of successful approaches, tools, and techniques for dealing with changes and adapting to a changing environment; ability to adapt as needed
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Emergency Management, Social Sciences, Government, Communications, Risk Management, Business Administration or related field or 4 years' experience in emergency management or related field.
  
  


• 3 years' experience implementing and maintaining a business continuity program, training, or exercise programs.
  
  


• Knowledge of best practices in the field of business continuity and recovery, as well as experience with software tools for business continuity planning
  
  


• Excellent prioritization and time management skills
  
  


• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  
  


• Strong interpersonal and indirect influencing skills, with a demonstrated ability to gain the confidence of stakeholders at various organizational levels
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in supply-chain or retail business continuity
  
  


• Certification as Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), Master Business Continuity Professional (MBCP), Certificate of the Business Continuity Institute (CBCI), Associate Member, Business Continuity Institute (AMBCI), Member, Business Continuity Institute (MBCI), Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) or Certified Project Management Professional

As a member of the Enterprise Resilience Planning team, you will be the Resilience Business Partner for a specific portfolio of business units by managing and leading business continuity program implementations for newly identified business areas, performing business continuity program maintenance activities (business impact analysis, strategy development, exercise design and facilitation, training events, risk management and mitigation), communicating, presenting, and obtaining buy-in from portfolio executive leadership, and participating in incident management response and recovery activities for large-scale events.
