Key Responsibilities
Responsible for financial statement preparations and consolidation.
Responsible for full cycle accounting entries, including Revenue, Payroll, Cash, and accruals
Analyze Financial Statements for discrepancies and alert Controller if necessary
Reconcile balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy of financial statements.
Leads year end financial audit, including review of work papers and reconciliations
Reconciles bank accounts, verifies deposits, and addresses inquiries from banks.
Coordinates with NetSuite vendor to maintain accounting software system; recommends updates to enhance the accounting software.
Provides guidance or training to accounts payable clerks and staff accountant
Provides recommendations of process improvements to mitigate audit risk and create efficiencies
Review and follow-up on expense items that are outside of budget or appear unusual.
Assist Controller in preparation of annual reports, including 1099's, Personal Property Statements, Sales and use tax Reporting and others as required.
Participate in Month End close meetings with Clinical Operation Leaders to interpret financial results
Collaboration across multiple departments to improve financial reporting
Assists controller and Vice President of Finance in Budget Preparation
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in accounting Required, or related field required
Minimum of 5 years with progressively responsible experience required.
Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
Efficient in Financial Accounting and Cash Accounting
Understanding of and the ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.
Experience with external audit processes
Experience with NetSuite preferred.
Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
