Responsibilities

Hexagon's Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division (Hexagon) is seeking a SEO Manager to join the Global Digital Marketing team within the Global Demand Center. In this Individual Contributor role, the selected candidate will work collaboratively and cross-functionally with the marketing team to drive strategy and support the tactical deployment of our SEO efforts. The ideal candidate will have a passion for B2B SEO strategies, digital marketing programs and exhibit a strong sense of ownership, bias for action, and superior communication skills; be willing to roll up your sleeves to get the job done.

  • Own, lead, and collaborate with global in-house team, external agencies, and key partners to deliver best-in-class results for all SEO programs
  • Define performance & optimization processes, SLAs, and best practices across SEO programs
  • Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify relevant and high-performing keywords for our industry and target audience.
  • Collaborate with content creators to develop SEO-friendly content that resonates with our audience and supports our SEO goals.
  • Optimize website content, including meta tags, headers, and images, to improve search engine rankings and user experience.
  • Monitor key SEO metrics, such as organic traffic, keyword rankings, and backlink profile, and provide regular performance reports to the marketing team
  • Applying those insights to develop strategic recommendations in the form of presentations, strategic frameworks, and informed POVs
  • Perform regular audits to identify technical issues affecting site performance and implement solutions to improve site speed, crawlability, and indexability.
  • Work cross-functionally with the web team to develop, lead, and execute SEO strategies and roadmap that leverage data-driven insights with key business partners across the organization
  • Function as the subject matter expert on the global marketing team for digital and multilingual SEO providing thought leadership across the organization
  • Attend additional training, conferences, and events as necessary to stay up to speed on technology and best practices and educate the entire marketing team on digital and SEO industry trends
  • Work proactively with departments across the organization to explore and identify ways to leverage traditional, digital, and social media to help support department campaigns, initiatives, goals, and objectives


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5-7+ years of SEO or search marketing experience with B2B, you are considered an “expert” by your peers
  • Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role
  • Deep experience in every facet of SEO: technical SEO, on-page factors, user experience, site performance, and link building
  • Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, BrightEdge or similar tool
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive actionable insights
  • Experience with multilingual website and SEO strategies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
  • Deep understanding of how search engines crawl, render, index, and rank web pages
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript/modern JS Frameworks and how they impact SEO
  • SQL Knowledge is a plus
  • Excellent analytical skills with demonstrated experience turning data into actionable insight
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for staying updated on the latest SEO trends and technologies
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented with strong project management skills
