Director of Staff Development/IP - LPN at The Heights Post Acute in Denver, Colorado

Job Description:

We are currently looking for a Director of Staff Development/Infection Prevention - LPN to join our team at The Heights Post Acute!

Job Duties:

• Communicate effectively with all staff, residents and family members


• Maintain a positive and calm disposition when communicating with staff, residents, family, visitors, government entities, etc.


• Develop and monitor goals and objectives of in-service trainings for the facility


• Interview, hire and orient new nurses


• Create and maintain records and reports pertinent to in-service requirements


• Partner with Administrator and DON to meet daily staffing and PPD goals


• Review and create daily staffing schedule


• Attend meetings and services on committee's as required

Requirements:

• Valid LPN License in good standing


• At least one year's experience as an LPN, good understanding of in-services


• Previous DSD/IP experience, a plus
