NOTICE OF VACANCY POSITION: Full time Chief of School Police DESCRIPTION: The Laurel School District is seeking a qualified and experienced leader to serve as Chief of School Police. This is a full time 210 day per year position. The Chief of Police will provide strategic direction and leadership for the Laurel School District Police Department, ensuring a safe and secure learning environment for all students, faculty, staff, and visitors. QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma Pennsylvania State Police Academy Graduate or Municipal Police Officer Education and Training Commission (MPOETC) Graduate or Other Police Officer Certification. Minimum 10 years of experience in the Pennsylvania State Police Force, Municipal Police Department, School Police Officer, or other certified police officer. CPR and First Aid Certification.
