Job Description:

Eastern Sports Management is currently accepting applications for Human Resource Manager. The Human Resource Manager (HRM) is responsible for overall execution of all Human Resource disciplines (Employee Relations, Payroll, Benefits, Worker's Compensation, etc) for the entire company. The HRM works closely with representatives at each property and with the staff at the corporate office to ensure the HR program is effectively implemented. The HRM reports directly to the President/CEO of Eastern Sports Management (ESM).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Submit annual compliance reports (EEO-1, OSHA 300 (series), etc)
Maintain open positions on both the company HRIS and selected job boards
Ensure prospective candidates who apply on 3rd party job boards are directed to the ESM Career Portal
Ensure HR policies are uniformly applied
Develop job descriptions and position descriptions
Classify newly created positions
Create and maintain electronic personnel files
Ensure benefit plan(s) are executed according to company policy and applicable laws
Process payroll
Manage IWOs and liens to ensure compliance with court orders
Conduct HRIS training when necessary
Conduct management and leadership training when necessary
Compile and submit monthly reports to government agencies as required
Manage FMLA requests and leave
Conduct internal audits and recommend corrective action in failure areas
Ensure applicable employees are offered 401k enrollment in compliance with local, state, and federal law
Manage background check program and make waiver recommendations
Draft correspondence on behalf of the company
Conduct investigations of all forms of misconduct including harassment
Other HR-related tasks to support the success of the company
