Summary:
Assists a licensed pharmacist, as directed, in preparing, packaging, labeling, and dispensing of both hazardous and non-hazardous pharmaceuticals to fill valid prescriptions or medication orders. Performs essential functions related to medication distribution, quality assurance and compliance, and medication inventory management, under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist and complies with all federal and New York State laws, rules, and regulations as promulgated by the New York State Board of Pharmacy.


Salary range is $39,215 - $48,294 which includes a comprehensive benefits package.




Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience


High school diploma or High School Equivalency diploma.
NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.



Preferred Qualifications



The preferred candidate should have an Associate's degree or higher, pharmacy or hospital experience, and sterile compounding/chemotherapy sterile compounding experience. The preferred candidate should be certified and NYS licensed as a Pharmacy Technician.
