BOOST is helping our client; D&G Support Services hire an exceptional senior level Director Business Development and Capture. The Director, Business Development and Capture is a player-coach role in which the Director, Business Development and Capture is responsible for executing D&Gs growth strategy from opportunity identification through proposal submission. Reporting directly to the CEO, the individual both executes capture and supervises junior BD and capture personnel in the execution of their duties. The individual is responsible for; customer account knowledge; pipeline generation, assessment, and reporting; and opportunity capture in accordance with company objectives, goals and established governance processes. He/she develops and implements the capture plan and orchestrates and manages all capture activities. The individual defines opportunity resource requirements and costs associated with capture and proposals and identifies and trains capture team members to ensure necessary support elements are available. Interacts with broad range of internal departments (i.e., Proposal Management, Operations, Human Resources, Finance, Contracts, etc.) to develop technical, managerial and pricing strategies.
The successful candidate will demonstrate competent and confident leadership, excellent critical thinking, problem solving, business acumen, and interpersonal skills to develop teams and construct near-term and long-range strategies for growth.
