ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate directly with customers, drivers and plant personnel to facilitate delivery of product
Maintain productive and professional relationships with all employees
Dispatch, track performance, and investigate overdue trucks in real time by monitoring demand, utilization, and capacity.
Identify opportunities and make continuous improvement efforts
Ensure all orders are filled out properly with the accurate materials ordered
Ensure maximum efficiency of drivers and material delivery
Maintain effective communication with drivers by two-way radio
Utilize logistic software to dispatch orders in a timely and professional manner
Collaborate and communicate with Sales, Operations, and Quality Control teams
Confer with customers to expedite or locate missing, misrouted, or delayed product
Document and record all customer complaints and problems in the log system
Display proactive problem-solving skills
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Required Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Education: Associates/Bachelors Degree.
Required Work Experience: 2-3 years of industry experience including experience in construction materials logistics. Licenses Required: Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to drive an automobile. Required Computer and Software Skills: Must have refined computer skills including the use of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and the internet.
