Job Description:

Position Title:  Packager

Hours:   7:00 AM- 3:30 PM                 

Location:    Cleveland, Tennessee    

Responsibilities:


  • Needs to help provide safe work environment and meet Plant Safety goals

  • Rotate through multiple stations on a shift to ensure maximum alertness and preparation

  • Read Spec sheet and use MFG Spec system and verify the parts required prior to assembly

  • Inform supervisors of any part or equipment defects to ensure prompt response to the problem

  • Communicate with other stations on the assembly line to ensure maximum speed and accuracy

  • Maintain and service all lines when necessary

  • Conserve resources and supplies to facilitate minimum waste

  • Assemble components accurately, thoroughly and quickly to approved specifications efficiently

  • Match shipper labels to correct type of mops,

  • scan -2- bar codes-checking computer screen to ensure reading was taken correctly,

  • Advance towards track to be taken to shipping

  • Partnership with Supervisor and department associates to meet target goals for servicing customers. And having an excellent relationship.

  • Coordinate quality issues with quality, supervisor and Production coordinator

  • Responsible for performing 6S in all areas of work assigned.

  • Need to work effectively to keep departments from backing up or track stopping.

  • Ability to understand trends of ordering raw material and when processing finish good stock orders.

  • Must be responsible for the area.

  • Will be expected to perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

  • Responsible for performing various hand working functions such as bagging, boxing, etc. Requires operation of simple production and packaging equipment

  • Ability to read and understand customer purchase orders and other written material.

  • Necessity to participate in monthly plant safety meetings.
