Job Description:

John Zink Hamworthy Combustion is seeking a Construction Project Manager to be based out of our office in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  This role involves project execution leadership and planning for the Order Execution phase of JZHC turnkey projects in support of all our business groups.

A Day In The Life Typically Includes:


This position will work under the supervision of the Director of Turnkey Services. The role will be responsible for planning and leading activities in preparation for and during the execution of field installation and construction work.  The Construction Project Manager will get involved with the product groups in the early phases of a sold turnkey project to fully understand the equipment and construction scope and participate in design reviews focusing on constructability.  Additional responsibilities will include finalizing project work-scope documents and working with sub-contractors to develop final construction plans, project costs and schedules.  You will leverage your knowledge of field construction to create and implement valued solutions to improve JZHC’s globally focused turnkey operations.

Candidates should be familiar with a variety of turnkey concepts, practices, and procedures and be able to rely on their experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. The successful candidate will perform a variety of construction project management tasks, including negotiations of site subcontracts as needed and directed. If you possess a strong ability to drive change and build relationships, we'd like to discuss this career advancement opportunity with you.

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or relevant engineering discipline or 5+ years of Construction Management experience

  • A culture that places top priority on integrity and compliance

  • 3+ years of experience with field construction, product design or project management

  • Approximately 25% travel with the potential for occasional longer-term assignments

  • Demonstrated excellence in customer focus

  • Strong EH&S and Quality commitment

  • Must be able to pass and maintain eligibility for DISA background and compliance check  

  • Ability to get a TWIC card

  • Outdoor work environment; uneven work surfaces; climbing ladders; lift and carry up to 30 lbs

  • This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship
