Job Description:

Are you looking for a valuable internship with the global leader of logistics? UPS Business Development is seeking a Sales & Marketing Intern to impact the organization by providing direct support to the Sales and Marketing teams. He/she researches assigned customer needs, develops recommendations and creates value propositions for customer presentation. 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Conducts market research on targeted customers
  • Sizes market and completes SWOT analysis
  • Identifies growth targets and develops lead generation
  • Collaborates and provides research and recommendations to Sales and Marketing
  • Develops and creates value propositions
  • Communicates issues and concerns raised by customers
  • Drives assigned project(s) to completion, tracking results and exceeding expectations
  • Prepares and delivers capstone presentation to senior sales leadership to demonstrate presentation and communication skills

Knowledge and Skills

  • Demonstrates leadership attributes within classroom, projects and volunteer activities
  • Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate with all levels of management
  • Ability to multi-task and work cross-functionally 
  • Demonstrates excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Able to work 15-40 hours per week
  • Rising junior or senior currently enrolled in a four-year college or university or in a Master’s program studying Business Management, Economics, Finance, Logistics, Marketing or Sales – Preferred
  • Experience using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook) SharePoint – Preferred
