Location: Beckley, West Virginia
Shentel is the largest Sprint PCS affiliate in the United States and currently provides wireless service to approximately 1,200,000 customers. As an affiliate company, Shentel has exclusive rights to provide Sprint wireless service to certain markets. Shentel currently serves a four-state area - including markets within Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania. Shentel builds and owns the network and owns and operates the Sprint retail stores. Shentel is also responsible for local customer service and directs local advertising and promotions.
Responsible for inside sales to new and existing customers. Guide the customer through the purchasing decision, activation process and educate the customer on their purchase of both device and service offerings. Perform customer account reviews and educate customers about their account options. Understand and communicate existing approved offers available to the end user while achieving their assigned company goals. Able to perform basic diagnostics of devices to support service and repair.
a. Thorough knowledge of available products, pricing and services offered by Sprint.
b. Thorough knowledge of the features and operations of phones.
c. Customer follow-up and referral based selling.
d. Responsible for outbound marketing (telephone and outdoor).
e. Actively greet customers using the Sprint GUEST process.
f. Informative consulting on PCS service plans and features.
g. Responsible for keeping up-to-date with current Sprint methods and procedures.
h. Observes all company safety procedures at all times.
i. Demonstrates and holds employees accountable for stewardship of the brand to include embodiment of the Shentel Way by ensuring appropriate use of the brand (name, logo, company, appearance, and attitude) within their respective team and organization.
j. Responsible for following, supporting and enforcing all internal control processes and procedures.
