Join Pratt & Whitney's Customer Training Center to build an internal business development program and courses for the Commercial Engine's organization. The initiative will establish a curriculum, courses, and network of subject matter experts to enhance the foundation and future of what Pratt & Whitney Commercial Engines has to offer.

Customer Business Instructors will be responsible for Sales, Customer Support, Marketing and Business Support training for employees. The courses will focus on proficiency in specific roles within the Customer Business organization; P&W foundational business knowledge; and cross functional business unit awareness. Training topics may include: contracts, cost sheets, CRM, flight safety process and procedures, global leasing, jet engine fundamentals, marketing, operational analytics, sales overview, negotiations, and warranty management.

Instructors will work with instructional design managers in Customer Training as well as subject matter experts in the business units to help develop and deliver instructor led programming. This role will require extensive knowledge of the Commercial Engines organization, and skills and processes required for employees to be efficient and impactful.

Courses will be taught in Customer Training facilities or offsite to meet global employee demand. Instructor travel of 15% is required.

Education / Experience


  • Bachelor's degree with 15+ years of aerospace sales, customer support, program management or other customer facing experience.

  • Master's degree, 10+ years of aerospace sales, customer support, program management or other customer facing experience.

  • Expert knowledge of multiple areas and recognized within the organization as a thought leader in: aerospace, sales, customer support, program management or other customer facing discipline.

  • Significant experience implementing functional strategy and establishing operational plans.

  • Develops and implements new products, processes, standards or operational plans that will have impact on the achievement of functional results.

  • Significantly improves on existing processes and practices.


Qualification: Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 12 years of aerospace sales, customer support, program management or other customer facing experience OR Master's degree with a minimum of 10 years of aerospace sales, customer support, program management or other customer facing experience.

  • Must have current or previous Pratt & Whitey work experience.

Preferred Qualifications :


  • Expert knowledge of multiple areas and recognized within the organization as a thought leader in: aerospace, sales, customer support, program management or other customer facing discipline.

  • Significant experience implementing functional strategy and establishing operational plans.

  • Develops and implements new products, processes, standards or operational plans that will have impact on the achievement of functional results.

  • Significantly improves on existing processes and practices.
