Job Description
Summary: Responsible for designing, creating, and managing the development of high-quality learning programs and instructional materials to meet the training needs of the Technical Training and Education Technology Department.

Tasks & Responsibilities:
Analyzes tasks, jobs and target audience requirements.
Designs training strategies and develops instructional and performance support products and materials to close gaps between current and desired performance.
Participates in cross-functional project teams to conduct learner needs analysis, review and (re)design of computer-based instruction, distance learning courses, broadcasts learning courses,
Recommend best practices related to adult online learning via multi-device platforms.
Designs traditional classroom-based instructor led course development, creates automated and electronic job aids, paper-based or electronic manuals.

Skills & Abilities:
Bachelor s degree in English, Communications, Instructional Design or related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of curriculum development experience (with degree); without degree, and additional 4 years of relevant experience.
Strongly developed business acumen.
Well-developed writing, research and editing skills; familiarity with standard style guides.
Ability to lead Subject Matter Expert meetings; facilitate content development meetings stakeholders.
Knowledge and/or familiarity with adult learning principles, and the ability to apply instructional design principles to training development.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on excellent client service.
High level of attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and balance multiple projects at one time.
Ability to prioritize and complete tasks to meet assigned deadlines.
Ability to respond readily to changes in the industry, environment, or organization and take constructive steps to address them.
Ability to perform all of the essential functions of this position.
