Job Description:

The general purpose of the Sales Liaison is to assist the Account Executive in the generation of net revenue to attain or exceed territory sales quotas through sales to new and existing business sources; work in conjunction with the GM and Branch team to ensure profitable sales growth for the branch; and function as a representative of the Account Executive and the branch to referral sources.

Primary functions for this role include, but are not limited to:

* Assisting Account Executive in securing documentation necessary to provide service and process orders in a prompt manner

* Working closely with Branch staff to ensure their full participation in the ongoing sales process and relationship development with key accounts

* Continually acquiring, maintaining, and expanding understanding of product knowledge, clinical applications, and customer needs to better service and enhance American HomePatient's relationships with accounts

* Establishing and implementing effective time management in accounts leading to the accomplishment of sales goals

* Preparing call report and account profiles as required by management

* Working with customer service representatives to receive and implement customer orders in a professional and courteous manner

* Ensuring the needs of walk-in customers are met

* High school graduate (diploma) or equivalent

* Bachelor's degree a plus

* Customer service or sales experience required

* DME or other health care experience preferred

* Must be 18 years or older to apply

Required Knowledge, Skills, Training, and Abilities include, but are not limited to:

* Successful completion of all scheduled New Employee Orientation Programs

* Successful completion of all training requirements

* Ability to read, write, and perform both mathematic calculations and the English language effectively

* Ability to work independently

* Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills

* Ability to lift or carry 25 lbs.

* Ability to communicate independently and verbally with personable and effective speaking skills

* Effective computer skills
