We have a great opportunity for an Environmental Compliance Specialist to join our team in Indianapolis, IN.
The successful candidate will:
Manage and/or complete environmental compliance and due diligence projects for various industrial clients, including but not limited to mulit-media compliance auditing, permit application development and support (e.g., air, stormwater, wastewater, etc.), Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plan development, Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) development, Emergency Planning Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA) evaluations and reporting (i.e., Form R, Tier II, etc.), Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, etc.
Complete applicability determinations associated with local, state, and federal environmental regulations
Comprehend and interpret environmental regulations
Communicate effectively with supervisor, project managers, staff, clients, and regulators
Support staff mentoring
Develop client proposals
Participate in business development activities
The ideal candidate will have:
B.S. degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
6 to 10 years of environmental compliance experience
Knowledge of environmental regulations affecting industry
Excellent technical writing skills
Excellent organizational skills
Willingness to travel
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER training (Preferred, but not required)
