Responsible for oversight and day-to-day management of an assigned team of Account Managers. Provide proper training, mentoring and workflow direction to ensure achievement of assigned performance and quality objectives. Perform all duties and ensure all associates are trained to perform in accordance with the company's policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversees and manages daily activities of assigned team.
Responsible for the efficient management of daily workflow and pipeline management to ensure tasks are being completed, daily volume is completed within all SLA metrics.
Conduct the review of files/conditions requiring exceptions to ensure accurate quality of work and exceptions are valid and documented properly.
Maintain efficient work flow and staffing to ensure SLA Production standards are adhered
Manage priorities/rush files with team.
Maintain high level of knowledge of guidelines and serves as primary trainer on loan products for the team
Provide clear and prompt communications on policy and procedural changes, requirements and performance expectations through routine staff meetings.
Set performance plan to achieve monthly and annual goals
Constantly evaluate the processes for improvement opportunities
Provide regular pipeline management reports and feedback to management, as required.
Act as a Liaison between Sales, Underwriting, Funding and Account Management functions.
Ensure appropriate staffing levels and appropriate back up is available at all times.
Perform other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND COMPETENCIES:
Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Ability to understand complex problems and to collaborate and explore alternative solutions
Ability to make decisions that have significant impact on the department's credibility, operations, and services
Ability to organize and prioritize work schedules of others on long-term basis
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and to record, balance, and check results for accuracy
Ability to compose letters, outlines, memoranda, and basic reports and/or to orally communicate technical information
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR LICENSES:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Six (6) or more years of directly related mortgage industry experience.
One (1) to two (2) years' experience in a Lead or Senior role within the production support environment.
Experience working in a paperless environment preferred.
