The VP, Technology Operations and Support Services will be responsible for the strategy and oversight of all production support services and operational aspects of the ZELIS Payment processing environment.
Oversee and manage all aspects of the production environment and technology operations support teams to ensure compliance with all SLAs
Lead root cause analysis for recurring issues within and across clients includes successful closure of all work items, issues and requests
Oversee and improve leverage of key platforms (Atomic, Dynatrace) to improve stability and services of the Zelis processing environment
Maintain alignment with Zelis Account Management and Client Services groups to ensure optimal overall service delivery
Develop and improve talent of team members through SMART objective setting, coaching and top-grading
Report performance against all SLAs and provide exception analysis and action planning as appropriate
Compare and contrast Zelis Payment service levels against best-in-class market competitors - report findings and opportunities for improvements
Implements best practices across areas to ensure continual improvement in service levels
Maintain awareness of and ensure adherence to ZELIS standards regarding privacy and security
Ensure all files are processed correctly - Daily, Weekly, Monthly per client agreements
Ensure robust resiliency and recovery - oversee and validate all business continuity processes; monitoring resource (CPU, storage) and capacitizing is necessary
Ensure strong communication with Zelis Payments business leaders on operational metrics and anomalies
Has outstanding understanding of methodology required to ensure seamless system operations; inclusive of file import/export, payment routing and processing and security measures
Has solid understanding of SQL database and MS Office applications
Works on assignments that are complex in which judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making recommendations
Thorough knowledge of company and departmental policies and procedures
BS Degree in Computer Sciences field
7+ years’ experience managing a Technical Operations, Production and Support Services Management support team
10+ years of role progression requiring increasing scope and responsibilities in a dynamic healthcare or financial services business
Exceptional people leadership and cross-functional teamwork
Track record of setting and meeting SLAs in a complex technology operating environment and high-volume transaction processing
In depth knowledge of MS .net tech stack, including web application/batch architecture
Ability to build basic SQL queries
Ability to create scripts in the shell of the operating system
Demonstrates solid troubleshooting and investigative skills
Must be detail-oriented and message effectively to non-IT groups
Healthcare or Payments experience a plus
