This position will develop, implement, and provide ongoing support for dental products and initiatives which are designed to maximize profitable growth and achieve revenue targets.
Actively monitor the competitive landscape and apply this knowledge to designing and implementing new products and enhancing existing products to position Guardian as a leader in the dental insurance industry.
Determines customers' needs and desires by specifying and participating in the research needed to obtain market information.
Brings new products to market by developing proposed product requirements and an implementation plan; prepares cost benefit analysis prior to implementation.
Increases product market share by working with sales leadership to develop product sales strategies.
Work closely with Actuarial/Pricing, Underwriting, Network, Distribution, Legal/Compliance/State Filing, Marketing, Training, Project Management Office and BTS/Information Technology organizations to create and enhance our existing portfolio.
T his p osition reports to the Assistant Vice President, Dental Products, who in turn, reports to the Vice President, Dental and Core Market Leader.
Marketplace understanding of dental trends.
Knowledge and experience with the product development lifecycle.
Critical understanding of price, value, and network sensitivities related to the dental insurance product.
Development and implementation of a "go to market" strategy.
Work with the broader organization to develop and execute on business strategies.
Help drive Guardian's Dental Thought Leadership activities.
Collaborate with Marketing and Training teams to create materials that educates, informs and drives sales.
Continuously strives to provide superior products and customer service.
Expresses oneself in an open and honest manner.

Broad knowledge of Group Insurance Distribution and Products.

Demonstrated ability to work with Distribution Organization.

Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred.
5% travel to/from Bethlehem, PA office and other locations as needed.
