Edelman is seeking an Analyst to join our amazing Digital practice working on one of the worlds largest consumer tech brands! You will join the Insights & Analytics team to help discover consumer insights, develop communication plans, and measure ongoing campaign impact. 


We are at a critical juncture in communications where the online market conversation has never been louder, further reaching, nor more active. Social media and digital marketing are now not “nice to haves” in the communications mix, they are essential to a brand’s overall image and success.


RESPONSIBILITIES

As an Associate Analyst, you’ll be tasked with uncovering insights around owned/earned social reporting, audience segmentation, customer database analytics, marketing consulting services and other general digital media analytics. Your day to day responsibilities include:


  • Own reporting and data management of ongoing digital, social, PR, paid activation and creative testing programs. Insights should be informative and actionable.
  • Present reports, POVs and other materials to clients on a regular basis over the phone or in person
  • Developing relationship-marketing strategies and collaborating with other capabilities to build robust marketing approaches for clients.
  • Providing integrated, analytic marketing solutions to improve client decision-making
  • Designing and conducting analysis for recommendations
  • Tracking marketplace, technology, and consumer demographic trends within and across multiple industries
  • Developing smart, compelling client presentations
  • Keeping a pulse on the industry and building up knowledge of business strategy issues
  • Conducting primary and secondary research on market trends
  • Contribute to Edelman’s Knowledge Manager Program by creating and sharing case studies, POVs and industry event recaps.

QUALIFICATIONS


  • Four-year college education (statistics, economics, finance, or marketing focus preferred) with a strong record of academic achievement

  • Minimum 6 months of experience online media/digital advertising analytics, research or similar fields.

  • Familiarity with the digital environment

  • Solid quantitative and research skills and proven data interpretation capabilities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and an ability to prepare clear and concise client-ready documents

  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

  • Experience / familiarity with ad-serving and web analytics tools (e.g., Google DFA, Atlas, Google Analytics, Omniture, etc…) is a plus.

  • Experience /familiarity with social conversation tools (e.g., Crimson Hexagon, Brandwatch, Netbase, etc…)
