We are looking for a Formulating Chemist to support our company's goals of continuous improvement, quality, and success!

What You'll Do:


  • Conduct standard routine tests: specific gravity, pH, corrosion tests, and % concentrations by refractometer readings on batch samples

  • Compare and evaluate chemical/physical properties and performance characteristics of metalworking fluids, rust preventatives and cleaner/degreasers

  • Prepare samples of formulas

  • Conduct tests to help develop, improve, and customize products

  • Compile and organize reports to track new product development, competitive samples, analyses, field sample reports, and related documents

  • Collect, label, organize, and store all lab samples

  • Record all data and maintain lab files/records including MSDS and customer reports

  • Stock and maintain lab equipment

  • Working daily with Lab Technicians

  • Reporting to General Manager/President

What is Required?


  • At least 3 years of college chemistry

What is Preferred?


  • Prior experience in a similar position and field
