Associate Contracts Administrator I

Biotronik is looking for an Associate Contracts Administrator I.  The Associate Contracts Administrator I will administer hospital, Integrated Delivery Network (IDN), Group Purchasing Organization (GPO), and Vascular Intervention (VI) contracts. In tihs role you will, analyze proposed pricing and any additional fee schedules to ensure conformance to BIOTRONIK guidelines; recommend pricing adjustments as necessary. The Associate Contracts Administrator I will write, revise, and review pricing agreements to ensure they are consistent with BIOTRONIK guidelines and requirements; negotiate revisions with appropriate hospital, IDN, GPO or VI contacts. In addition you will ensure accurate pricing is loaded into the SAP system and provide guidance to BIOTRONIK personnel in researching and resolving pricing discrepancies.

Your Responsibilities

Your Profile

  • Assist in development and submission of RFPs, RFIs, and other proposals ensuring pricing

    and terms conform to guidelines and format is in accordance with BIOTRONIK and/or

    hospital or purchasing group requirements.

  • Administer contractual agreements with hospitals including but not limited to pricing

    agreements, clinical studies, additions or deletions of products, term extensions and

    other changes that are governed by the contract.

  • Engage with business leadership and Corporate Accounts team to understand the target customers and our current process for promoting and selling to key accounts.

  • Perform preliminary contract and deal analysis including analysis of rebates and incentive


  • Engage in initial and ongoing product education to ensure up-to-date knowledge of BIOTRONIK product offerings.

  • Load and maintain pricing in SAP.

  • Analyze proposed pricing and obtain appropriate management feedback and approvals.

  • Interpret customer imposed terms & conditions to ensure they conform to BIOTRONIK standards and obtain approvals where they do not.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance or a related field or equivalent

    education, training and experience.

  • One to two years of experience in contract administration.

  • Beginning contract deal analysis skills

  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced sales environment

  • Experience using Word, Excel, and other related software programs

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Good time management and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work accurately with close attention to detail and to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

  • Ability to work with co-workers, customers, and outside agencies professionally and


  • Ability work independently and as part of a team

  • SAP experience preferred

  • One to two years of experience in contract administration in a medical device field preferred
