Position Overview:

ISG Business Governance, part of ISG Technology, is seeking a Senior Information Security Associate to join the Business Information Security team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation and oversight of security standards, procedures and guidelines across Annuities, Life and Prudential Advisors.  The Senior Information Security Associate will work closely with the Business Control functions to ensure Information Security company policies, standards, and federal and state laws are adhered to.  


The primary responsibility is the protection of Prudential’s assets. 

Additional Responsibilities include:

  • Provides support for system and data access controls including Identity and Access Management, Role Based Access Control, and Security Administration

  • Performs security compliance monitoring procedures

  • Works closely with multiple business partners to ensure the satisfaction of services provided

  • Contributes to security awareness programs 

  • Partner with the Business Information Security Officer to investigate data security incidents

  • Maintains an awareness of existing and proposed security standard setting groups, State and Federal legislation and regulations pertaining to information security.

  • Partners with the Corporate Information Security Office, Business Continuation, Vendor Governance, Information Technology, Risk, Audit, and Privacy Officer to ensure appropriate solutions are provided to business partners

  • Performs related duties as assigned or requested, including implementation of capacity planning, metrics and information security process improvements


  • Information Security education/training or previous job experience in Information Security or related position

  • Risk based decision maker; able to balance business needs with security of data

  • Strong problem-solving and analysis capabilities

  • Clear, professional communications (listening, oral and written communications)

  • Strong relationship building and collaboration skills

  • Demonstrated track record as a team player

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Information security certification (CISSP, Security+, etc.) a plus
