Platform Developer Description
Elekta is a worldwide market leader in Radiation Therapy solutions for major hospitals and healthcare clinics. We’re looking for senior engineers to join our team in creating our next generation cloud native platform for the delivery of cutting-edge innovations that will advance the state of the art in cancer treatment.
Recent hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes and their associated deployment artifacts, APIs, and CLI tooling.
Experience creating and managing platform services for Identity and Access, Service Mesh, Logging, Event Bus, Monitoring, Administration, Storage Management, etc. leveraging open source packages as upstream sources.
Proficient with Shell Scripting using Linux Shell / Bash and/or Windows Powershell.
Comfortable configuring and working with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins or similar tooling.
Experienced with Git based SCM and distributed version control concepts and practices.
Strong developer testing skills including automated unit, integration, functional, and performance testing.
Understanding of distributed software architecture and design patterns, e.g. 12 Factor application design, reactive, microservice, CQRS and Event Sourcing.
Understanding of API design and strategies for API versioning.
Familiar with Domain Driven Design concepts and practices.
Strong refactoring skills and experience with legacy application migration.

BS or MS in CS, CE, or equivalent experience.
7+ years hands-on experience as a software developer using C++ and/or C#.
Excellent communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence without authority.
Experience in network and security architecture.
Must be self-motivated, well organized, and have strong problem-solving skills.
