Job Description:

PAPÉ MATERIAL HANDLING, INC. – FIFE, WA

PRODUCT SUPPORT SUPERVISOR: The member in this position will oversee and assist in the repair and maintenance of equipment in the shop and field, and provide customer service and support to ensure the highest quality of workmanship. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Monitor and manage service work order from shop and field technicians.

  • Monitor Work in Process to ensure timely completion of repairs and invoicing. 

  • Supervising members of the Service department including technicians and office staff.

  • Communicate directly with the Shop Coordinator, Product Support Representatives, other departments, technicians and customers regarding pending, ongoing and completed jobs.

  • Performing performance reviews.

  • Helping management with annual budgets.

  • Overseeing warranty.

  • Delivering a financial statement that meets or exceeds expectations.

  • Maintain the highest standards in Safety practices and policies. 

Additional responsibilities will include supervising the Parts Department members, monitoring department expenses relating to freight charges, supplies and stock orders, filing claims as needed, and overall inventory control. Experience in inventory management, as well as knowledge of material handling parts and related products and services required.

Required Skills:


  • Strong leadership skills.

  • Ability to maintain good customer and member relations.


  • Technical and leadership experience preferred.

  • Computer proficiency, including experience with Excel and Word required.

  • Communication skills, both oral and written, must be above average.

  • Minimum of 3 years industry specific experience required.

  • Prior sales experience a plus.

  • Knowledgeable in both parts and service.

  • Four-year college degree or equivalent preferred.
