As an Internal Communications Manager, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and leading all aspects of internal employee communications at Gallo. In this highly visible and collaborative role, you will lead corporate projects and work across various communication mediums (written, audio, video) to deliver high-quality content to employees in all locations. You will work closely with senior leaders and teams across the business to provide strategic guidance and hands-on support.
What you’ll do:
Drives the development and execution of a successful strategic plan for Corporate Communications and Employee Services through strong leadership skills, including all aspects of OGSM development/execution.
Develops messaging and defines corporate communications strategy for the company; partners with business leaders to craft communications ensuring Gallo’s corporate vision and mission are always conveyed, including; corporate announcements, videos, as well as department, functional and corporate town halls, etc.
Leads and develops content for employees including general communications, urgent announcements, brand additions and organizational changes.
Manages and leads content, design, and functionality for employee communications portal along with internal communications channels and corporate newsletters.
Develops messaging, talking points, video scripts, and other materials for large company events.
Oversees employee recreational programs, clubs and other employee engagement activities.
Identifies improvement opportunities and develops new programs to continuously streamline internal communications and employee programs.
Oversees employee communications in relation to incidents or crisis.
Manages high visibility corporate projects with large budgets.
What we are looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism or Business Administration, plus 5 years of public relations, communications/journalism, marketing/sales or human resources experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
Experience managing crafting and delivering of corporate communications.
Expert in verbal and written communication; possess superior organizational skills.
Experience developing and presenting information to various groups of people of all levels and job functions.
Experience in project management and multi-tasking.
Experience effectively managing and directing people on a project basis.
Experience leading highly visible corporate projects where decisions impacted the project outcome.
What will set you apart:
Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism or Business Administration with a Marketing or Sales concentration plus 8 years of public relations, communications/journalism, marketing/sales, or human resources experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
Experience managing multiple high-priority projects simultaneously and delivering results on time/within budget.
Experience championing the use of new approaches to improve and measure effectiveness of communications.
Expert knowledge of communications and public relations fundamentals.
Experience organizing and executing Corporate events.
Experience responding effectively to the most sensitive inquiries from clients or members of the business community.
