Job Description:

The purpose of the AZM – Parts & Service supports the Zone Parts & Service Manager in activities aimed at the improvement of service customer retention, service, parts and accessories sales business, repair order growth, the Express Service & Accelerated Service initiatives. Honda and Acura automobile customer satisfaction ratings with Honda and Acura automobile dealer services and products, Initial Quality Satisfaction of Honda and Acura products and the protection and maintenance of the interest of AHM and the Honda and Acura Brands.

The Assistant Zone Manager Parts & Service Operations supports the Zone Parts & Service Manager in activities aimed at the improvement of service customer retention, service, parts and accessories sales business, repair order growth, the Express Service & Accelerated Service initiatives. The AZM will also support Honda and Acura automobile customer satisfaction ratings with Honda and Acura automobile dealer services and products, Initial Quality Satisfaction of Honda and Acura products and the protection and maintenance of the interest of AHM and the Honda and Acura Brands. Additionally, the AZM is primarily responsible for guiding, supporting and setting the performance expectations of the zone's DPSM's daily activities. 

 

Responsibilities:  


  • Achievement of customer satisfaction, business growth (RO count), and parts and accessory sales objectives

  • Achievement of Alpha/PG1-3 VIN completion objectives

  • TREAD Act Reporting, FQR and Warranty administration



  • Four year Automotive Management Degree or equivalent work experience




  • Six - Eight years of related work experience, including interacting with dealerships on a wholesale and retail level (preferably as a Sr. District Parts & Service Manager




  • Demonstrated proficiency in managing associates remotely




  • Marketing experience as it relates to express service metro market campaigns and parts/accessory sales improvements at the dealership level




  • Must have strong customer relations skills, strategic business planning skills to support major areas of responsibility, target marketing skills, knowledgeable of warranty administration, parts and service policy and procedures




  • Strong understanding of Honda/Acura Dealers' Parts & Service operations and Honda/Acura financial statement and EXAM data




  • Must be proficient in the use of analysis, action planning and follow up to achieve assigned business objectives




  • Excellent communication (Verbal, written and presentation), analytical, planning, conceptual and organizational skills are required




  • Position also requires extensive travel and future relocation
